Who is PROMETEO FP7 OFFICE?
PROMETEO FP7 OFFICE
PROMETEO FP7 OFFICE is the FP7 Projects office created to help Spanish companies partner in projects of the European Union's FP7 and the ARTEMIS JTI for Research and Technological Development.
PROMETEO FP7 OFFICE is promoted by CDTI (Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology), an Agency of the Spanish Government.
The office is managed on behalf of PROMETEO by European Software Institute, a member of the Steering Board of ARTEMISIA.

- Searching of Spanish partners in order to complete proposals in preparation
- Support in all stanges of the life cycle of an European project:
- Conception of the ideas
- Creation or integration of Consortiums
- Assistance in the proposal writing
- Negotiation of the contracts
- Support to the projects management

PROMETEO Technology Platform
PROMETEO is the Spanish platform for Embedded Systems led by the European Software Institute Tecnalia (ESI), Telvent, Mondragón Corporación Cooperativa (MCC), Acciona and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). The platform was established in May 2005 and nowadays is integrated by the most relevant agents in the area of embedded systems (organisations, universities and research centres). Currently the platform includes 106 organisations:
- 41 SMEs
- 23 Large companies
- 19 Research Centres
- 23 Universities
PROMETEO forms a community of excellence on embedded systems research. The organisations in PROMETEO have been the most important Spanish contractors in the FP6, in terms of the success of their proposals, and our network members are important actors in significant frameworks such as ITEA. Thus, PROMETEO is the place to be for Embedded Systems research in Spain, and key for foreign companies looking after new joint initiatives.
